P&L is computed inside Postgres by a trigger using exact numeric arithmetic — the client can never store a wrong number.

Analytics run in the database, so the dashboard stays fast with thousands of trades; history is paginated, filtered and sorted in SQL.

A procedural tree, generated deterministically per user, grows through stages as nurture accumulates.

Authentication built from scratch: scrypt password hashing, 256-bit session tokens stored only as SHA-256 hashes, throttled sign-ins.

Timezone-aware calendar logic: “today” is always the date in the user’s own zone, with a short grace window for forgotten check-ins.
